It looks like Marketing Drive – that agency that, when not known for liquor promotions, is known for lackluster advertising (if it is known at all) – retained the Pernod Ricard business, and even picked up a few wine and champagne brands along the way.
Color me underwhelmed.
They beat out Alcone of Darien, Connecticut and two other unknown agencies.
I hate when mediocre agencies win work on cool clients. I would work on Pernod Ricard for product only…which may not actually cut their budget for agency retention.
