Looking at Marketing Drive’s website, I can see why. Site navigation reminds me of driving through Boston during the Big Dig. Site design is reminiscent of GE circa 1995. My agency insider tells me that the creative directors do all of the design and concepting and pass off sketches for execution – sounds like a scintillating laboratory of design. And to top it off, the agency is located in suburban Darien, Connecticut. That’s a grand slam of shittiness.
Marketing Drive, as incumbent, is apparently in the final round against three other unnamed agencies.
Best of luck to the others, there is no way they can be worse than the muppets in Darien.
